Rob Shehadie is the star of the hit comedy "Fat Pizza', "Swift and Shift" and "Houso's" playing the character Rocky. He has been part of the Fat Pizza TV show for the past 10 years. Rob has featured in the Fat Pizza movie that broke box office records in Australia. He has also toured the country with numerous stage show comedies and made hundreds of appearances. He is a stand up comedian, actor and writer.
Before turning to acting, Rob was a full time Rugby union player. He represented Australia/NSW in schoolboy, under 19's and under 21's level. He also represented Lebanon in rugby league. He was forced to stop the sport due to injuries.
Rob Shehadie created the hit comedy From Lebanon With Love Part 1 & 2 which has been one of the most successful and celebrated independent theatre shows Australia has seen in many years. It was performed in Melbourne, Adelaide and due to popular demand in Sydney for over 35 shows and watched by more than 35,000 sydney siders. The DVD has been seen all around the world by enthusiastic Australians. This was a show that broke records and new grounds, as finally there was a family show that had non-stop laughter but with positive messages. A show that did not contain politics or religion and only showed the Arabic community in their true light. It was welcomed and warmly received by the community who embraced this show as their own.
His work has brought attention to the wider community, with media covering this successful stage show.
Rob Shehadie was also nominated for a TV Week Logie award "Most popular new talent" making him the 1st Australian Lebanese to be nominated. He has also done cameo appearances on: "Renovation Rescue" channel 9 "Australian Idol" channel 10 "Footy Show" channel 9 "Music Max" foxtel
